The FA Cup!
This spot created for ESPN to promote the oldest association football competition in the world won a global excellence award at PROMAX for marketing and design. This annual knockout cup competition in English football has become known for the possibility of "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" of the top clubs and even win the Cup. The FA Cup! Inspired by the history of the tournament, using photoshop and after effects, I created this continuously unfolding animation to parallel the unfolding history of the event and the excitement of the tournament itself.
